Whenever I see un-relaxed hair I just can’t resist starring at it in admiration. I don’t know why or how but I just find it hard to keep my eyes off natural hair. I have to say that the reason we make excuses about natural hair is simply because we choose to be afraid and think that our natural hair is un attractive. Living in a society where straight hair is seen as more beautiful than kinky hair, we are not to blame but it is all a very wrong perception. There are people who in the day of today who still consider natural hair as un acceptable in the society. One man’s food is another man’s poison.

Natural hair is often termed as unkempt, unprofessional, ugly and so much more. But worry less for the world is changing really fast. So many women are opting togo natural standing strong against all the odds and making the choice to transform from relaxers, weaves and processed hair to being a natural beauty. Alarge part of the society now hire natural haired professionals along side others.

Natural hair is a journey of confidence and setting one’s own standards. As long as you know that you are beautiful and you are confident about your natural hair it should not worry you much about what others think about your natural hair. Beauty comes from within. Why go for natural hair;

·        No more relaxers so I don’t have to fear that I will get scalp burns while processing my hair. ·        Relaxed hair thins out as it grows unlike natural hair that can be pinned into a curly ponyt ail. ·        Natural hair grows uniformly unlike relaxed hair that gets two textures as it grows. With natural hair you can embrace growth and not fear growth like the case with relaxed hair. ·        Natural hair guarantees long healthy hair because it protects the ends of your hair unlike the relaxed hair that thins out as it grows. ·        With natural hair you are free from dry scalp because you explore a wide range of products and wear new styles any time as desired. ·        Natural hair salons costs significantly less cash and time. It gives you freedom from salons unlike the case with relaxed hair where you visit the salon every two weeks. Natural hair is beautiful and you are beautiful too. Do not allow yourself to be easily deceived. It is the right choice, it is the way to go with no regrets.
